After registering, you will receive a welcome email from us. We will also contact you for an onboarding appointment.

As a volunteer, we will match you with a refugee from Ukraine to help them find a job in Germany. We target refugees with low to medium qualifications and little to no knowledge of German or English. Therefore, many questions arise around job search, application and work requirements. As a volunteer, you can provide digital support via video telephony, telephone, chat or even in person to help a refugee find a job in Germany as quickly as possible. Knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian is an advantage.

You should plan at least two to three hours per week. However, this can also vary from tandem to tandem. It depends on how quickly the job entry succeeds and what previous qualifications the refugees have. We expect the maximum duration of support to be around eight to twelve weeks.

We are currently looking for volunteers with at least a basic knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian. Otherwise, you do not need any special skills or knowledge. 

After registering, you will receive detailed onboarding from us. We will show you how and what information you can find in our knowledge database on job entry for refugees and how you can also sensitively shape conversations with people who have experienced trauma. After registration, our experienced team will be at your side. We will also answer any questions that come up after the matching process that you do not have an answer to - or if you want to reassure yourself. We are experts in the labour market entry of people with start-up difficulties and refugee backgrounds and will accompany you professionally at any time in your task as a volunteer.
